Inglenook Wood Housing Development

About the Project:

Fallon Consulting Engineers (DFCE) acted as Civil & Structural designers on this project which involved the construction of sixteen four-bedroom modern A-rated houses along with twelve apartments which are split between two large apartment blocks. The development is located at Inglenook Wood, Glenamuck Road, Carrickmines, Dublin 18. DFCE also provided PSDP services on this project.

Our Solution:

DFCE tasks in this project involved:

• Design of the water supply, foulwater & stormwater infrastructure within the site. This involved the design of an on-site attenuation system.
• Design of all substructure & superstructure structural elements, including the foundations, pre-cast concrete flooring, RC design & detailing & roof design.
• Periodic inspections during the construction stage to ensure compliance with design drawings & applicable Building Regulations.
