Cois Sruthain Development at Ballyboughal, Co. Dublin

DFCE has been commissioned by Montane Developments Limited to provide Civil, Structural, Architectural and PSDP services on this riverside project at Ballyboughal, County Dublin.

The project consists of 27 units, consisting of 17 housing units and 10 apartments.

The site is challenging in many technical aspects, particularly in relation to siteworks and includes:

• Gabion construction along the banks of the river,
• A complex stormwater solution which includes permeable paving, Bio-retention and Detention Basins,
• A major foulwater diversion,
• A pedestrian bridge across the river,
• An overflow culvert across Ballyboughal Bridge
• Significant construction management constraints due to it’s riverside location,
• Culvert construction and,
• A piled substructure system.
