DFCE were commissioned by the Department of Education & Skills to provide Assigned Certifier services for the construction of 2 schools on a common campus at Belmayne, Dublin 13.
Both schools were three-storey, with the St. Francis of Assisi school being constructed using a steel frame, with the Educate Together School being constructed using a precast frame.
The project was part of a wider Design & Build Rapid Schools Lot and was constructed by ABM Group. Works commenced on site in April 2018 and were completed in early 2019. Oppermans acted as Architects, with Civil & Structural (Hayes Higgins) and Varming Consulting Engineers (M&E).
